Indian superstar Prabhas signed a three-film deal with production company Hombale Films, after their collaboration on the film “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire”.
The deal, which includes the upcoming “Salaar” sequel and two additional features, represents one of the largest studio talent partnerships in Indian cinema. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The agreement reinforces Hombali’s expanding slate, which already includes the anticipated sequels “Kantara 2” and “KGF: Chapter 3”. The production house has established itself with hits like ‘KGF: Chapter 1’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, ‘Kantara’ and ‘Salaar: Part 1’.
Prabhas, who gained international fame with the ‘Baahubali’ franchise, currently has multiple projects in the works, including ‘The Raja Saab’, ‘Spirit’, ‘Kalki 2’ and ‘Fauji’. The actor has demonstrated broad market appeal across major film regions in India, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada speaking regions. ‘Salaar Part 2’, helmed by KGF director Prashanth Neel, will be the first project under the new agreement.
