PBPC Abu Dhabi celebrates its twentieth anniversary trendy blogger

Abu Dhabi (UAE): The Pakistan Business Professionals Council (PBPC) Abu Dhabi achieved a significant milestone in its history by celebrating its 20th anniversary with a grand dinner held at the Conrad Hotel, Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi. The event, which was attended by 250 distinguished guests, business leaders and community members, was a testament to the Council’s commitment to strengthening business relations and supporting the Pakistani community in the UAE.
At the forefront of the guests were Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, General Patron of the Council, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tarmzi, and Chairman of the Council.
Sheikh Nahyan said: The strong ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates are strengthened by the presence of a large Pakistani expatriate community in the Emirates that lives in peace within our borders and contributes to the vitality and progress of our country. Your work on the Professional Pakistan Business Council in Abu Dhabi is particularly appreciated and provides a clear indication of the commitment of the Pakistani community in Abu Dhabi and the UAE to strengthening business relations between our two countries. You are playing a positive and important role in promoting economic and trade cooperation and facilitating interaction between the business communities of Pakistan and the UAE.
“Your council brings you together to make an impact in the community, to collaborate on projects and business activities, and to connect with your country,” he said. These activities connect your community here in the UAE and provide it with an energy that is often similar to that you may have encountered on your home soil. I hope that your future initiatives and activities will be as exciting, useful and impactful as those of past years. I’m sure they will be too. After all, you will be living and working in the wonderful city of Abu Dhabi and in this great country, the United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan’s ambassador to the country, Faisal Niaz Tarmzi, highlighted the strong relationship between the UAE and Pakistan. He also praised Dr. Qaiser Anis for linking a platform for Pakistani businessmen and professionals with other business councils and also announced the establishment of Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah this year.
The evening began with a warm message from Dr Qaiser Anis, Vice Chairman of PBPC and Founder Chairman, who spoke about the Council’s journey since its inception in 2004. “I would like to thank the people who established the Pakistan Professional Business Council since 2004, inaugurated by the then President of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf. We have completed 20 successful years with great respect. I would like to thank the previous ambassadors and the current ambassador, Faisal Niaz Tarmizi. The reason behind our success is the support provided by the Embassy of Pakistan Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, UAE Government, Executive Council, Members and Pakistani Community For every organization to complete 20 years, there must always be hard work behind it.
“The Council has a great platform for networking, for the business community to promote their businesses, and for professionals to enhance their resources. Members can give back to Pakistan, and give back to the UAE and the world. He expressed his thanks to all the UAE leaders for their concern for all Pakistanis living and working in the UAE, And develop their professional and educational skills.
The Council works to enhance trade, commerce and investments between the two countries. He also called for the establishment of a free hospital for all patients in need and a free community school. Dr. Qaisar said: “To expand Indus Hospital in Abu Dhabi.”
The event was not only a celebration of two decades of PBPC, but also a celebration of the strength and resilience of the community, with the Council creating a platform that enables Pakistani professionals and businesses to thrive in Abu Dhabi’s vibrant economy. During the ceremony, a video presentation was shown about the Council’s success story over 20 years.
Throughout the night, attendees had the opportunity to network, strengthen connections, and celebrate PBPC’s accomplishments in promoting professional development, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. The event also highlighted the Council’s commitment to confronting contemporary challenges and promoting innovation within the business community.
As part of the celebrations, PBPC honored the founding and senior members for their leadership and contributions to the Council and the wider community, underscoring the importance of collaboration and support in achieving success.
The ceremony included live entertainment, and guests participated in a competition highlighting the Council’s journey over the past twenty years.
The Council also honored institutions for their support and contributions to the Council, the Ministry of Economy, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.
Javed Akhtar, for his services to the promotion of foreign direct investment in Pakistan from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Aliya Auditing Company as Honorary Auditor of the Board. The CEO of the Club Network, Tariq Nizami, also honored Dr. Qaiser Anis for his valuable contributions to Pakistani society.
President Muhammad Iqbal Naseem thanked the people over the past two decades, you have provided unwavering support to the Council and the community. Furthermore, he highlighted the activities undertaken by the Council during the Covid-19 pandemic and Expo 2020 Dubai, which is a testament to the collective efforts made by the Council to support Dubai Expo, its members and the community.
The 20th Annual Dinner not only celebrated past accomplishments, but also paved the way for future endeavors, as PBPC pledged to continue its mission to enhance the professional landscape of its members.
