Lahore: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) former executive committee member Zeeshan Sohail Malik here on Sunday praised the Punjab Chief Minister and the district administration for relocating the fish market.
He stated that this important step would alleviate the old problems faced by both the commercial community and local residents.
He pointed out that the fish market has become a source of major problems, including severe traffic congestion, poor sanitation, and environmental pollution in the area. The relocation will provide much-needed convenience to residents and create a more conducive environment for business operations.
The former member of the European Commission praised the government’s commitment to addressing the concerns of public interest and traders through such practical measures. He expressed his hope that similar initiatives would continue to improve civil and commercial conditions. He praised the quick and effective response of the Punjab Chief Minister and the district administration and noted that such measures would further strengthen public confidence in the government.
