KARACHI: Private sector organizations engaged in providing healthcare facilities to patients are providing praiseworthy services and should be recognized by every quarter of our society, says Director General Public Relations (DGPR), Information Department, Government of Sindh Muhammad Saleem Khan. press release.
He said this during a visit to the Sundas Foundation, an organization that works to provide state-of-the-art health care facilities for patients suffering from various blood diseases. Irfan Maher, Faisal Hameed and other Sundas Foundation officials were also present on this occasion.
The Director of Public Information said that the services of Sundas Foundation without any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed or religion deserve praise. “The free blood transfusion and hematology services they provide are wonderful,” he added.
He said that the Sindh government gives top priority to providing healthcare facilities to common men across the province. “JPMC Cyber Knife, NICVD Centres, Autism Centre, Artificial Organ Facility, NIPA Infectious Disease Hospital, and Abdul Kadir Institute in Gambat are few examples of the unprecedented endeavors of the provincial government in the health sector,” he opined.
He further said that not only patients from Sindh but other provinces and countries are benefiting from these facilities.
He appreciated Sundas Foundation’s service initiative in Sindh and said that it would provide hematology patients with a treatment centre.
The Director General of Sindh Information praised the role of the founder of the institution and famous writer Munu Bhai in making this institute a reality. He noted that his vision led to the establishment of the Karachi Centre.
Later, the Director General of Public Relations visited the center’s various departments and inquired from the patients’ mothers about the facilities provided to them at the center.
