Government data showed on Sunday that the Saudi economy grew by 2.8% in the third quarter compared to the same period a year ago, supported by an increase in non-oil activity.
The growth rate was consistent with the preliminary data announced in October.
Non-oil output rose by 4.3% in the quarter compared to last year, government activity increased by 3.1% and the oil sector rose by 0.05%, according to data issued by the General Authority for Statistics.
The Statistics Authority said that compared to the previous three months, real GDP grew by 0.9% in the third quarter.
