Bruce Springsteen says Jeremy Allen White “sings very well” in biopic trendy blogger

Bruce Springsteen is offering more information about his upcoming biopic starring Jeremy Allen White, saying the “The Bear” star “sings well” in the film.

The Scott Cooper-directed film, “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” follows Springsteen in the early 1980s as he writes his sixth personal album, “Nebraska.” Both Springsteen and his manager, Jon Landau – who will be played by Jeremy Strong of “Succession” – were actively involved in the production, with Springsteen visiting the set several times.

“But you get over that pretty quickly,” he said. “And Jeremy is such an amazing actor that you just fall right into it. He’s got my interpretation and I think the fans will identify with him deeply. He’s done an amazing job, so I’ve had a lot of fun being on set when I can get there.”

White also sings in the film, and his vocal chops are approved by the president.

“He sings well, he sings very well,” Springsteen told Rotolo. “And Jeremy Strong and Odessa Young, there’s a tremendous group of people. They made the movie beautifully, it’s very exciting.”

Back in June, White confirmed his plans to sing and play guitar in the biopic diverseMark Malkin said: “We will do our best.” He expanded on that in a GQ magazine profile in August, confirming that he had been working with a vocal coach and watching hours of rock star footage.

“I have a really talented group of people who are helping me practice vocally and musically to get ready for this thing,” White said. “I’m also very lucky that Bruce is really supportive of the film, so I had access to him and he’s the greatest guy.”
