Ambassadors meeting
the Asian Film Academy Awards (AFAA) exploited the actor Dean Fujioka As an ambassador for the upcoming 18th edition, alongside four young ambassadors from their fellow actors – Ukbap Shotemon (Thailand), Austin Lane (Taiwan), Lu Chun Yip (Hong Kong) and Okada Masaki (Japan).
Fujioka, known for “Fullmetal Alchemist” and winner of Best Actor at the 12th Confidence Drama Awards for “Monte Cristo: A Beautiful Revenge,” began his career in Hong Kong before gaining recognition across Asia in Taiwanese dramas. Youth Ambassadors bring diverse experiences to their roles. Chutimon shot to fame with Bad Genius (2017) and won an International Emmy Award for Hunger. Lin received two Golden Horse Award nominations for “I WeirDO” and “Marry My Dead Body”, while Lo received a Hong Kong Film Award nomination for “Time Still Turns the Pages”. Okada appeared in the Oscar-winning film “Drive My Car.”
The Academy, founded by the Busan, Hong Kong and Tokyo International Film Festivals, will host the awards ceremony in Hong Kong. This event is supported by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency and the Film Development Fund. Nominations and jury chair for AFA18 will be announced on January 10.
Dating drama
Netflix Released the main promo for the fourth season of the Korean dating series “Singles hellis scheduled to premiere globally on January 14. The preview showcases the new cast and highlights upcoming clips including a courtship party, marital games and nighttime interactions in the show’s signature “Inferno” location, along with reactions from the commentator panel.
Producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun, and Park Su-ji noted that “the core of Single’s Inferno’s success is its captivating cast” and stated that “Season 4 will be the most exciting season yet.” The production team added that viewers “will be able to see conflicts that can only be found in real-life relationships.”
Returning commentators Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae, and Dex will provide commentary throughout the season.
Since its release in 2021, “Single’s Inferno” has emerged as one of the best unscripted shows on Netflix. The series has evolved from its initial form in the first season through relationship-focused storylines in the second season and plot developments in the third season. The upcoming fourth season aims to delve deeper into the contestants’ emotional journeys through heightened interpersonal dynamics.

BVR Inox Brings the top Bollywood star Hrithik RoshanThe first film of ‘Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’ returns to Indian theaters on January 10, marking the film’s 25th anniversary and Roshan’s birthday. The re-release comes as part of the exhibition chain’s strategy to introduce classic Indian films to new audiences. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the 2000 release featured both Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Pateland features a supporting cast including Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal and Dalip Tahil. Film soundtrack by Rajesh Roshan It produced hit songs like “Na Tum Jano Na Hum” and “Ek Pal Ka Jeena”.
“It is surreal to realize that it has been 25 years since Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai!” Hrithik Roshan said in a statement. “This achievement is both humbling and motivating, to be blessed with the opportunity to live out my dream of becoming an actor.” Director Rakesh Roshan noted the film’s lasting cultural impact, particularly the music that continues to be played at events and parties.
The re-release will be shown across the PVR INOX network, including premium The Luxury Collection venues. The exhibition chain currently operates 1,749 screens across 355 properties in India and Sri Lanka.
