This event came as part of his three-day official visit to South Korea with the aim of strengthening trade and investment relations between the two countries, according to a press release issued here.
During the dinner, Minister Jam Kamal Khan highlighted the vast investment opportunities available in Pakistan, especially in the fast-growing food and agriculture sector, technology, IT and minerals. He stressed Pakistan’s liberal investment regime and the country’s strategic location as an attractive destination for international companies.
The Minister also encouraged Korean investors to participate in the upcoming FoodAg Expo, scheduled to be held in Lahore from February 26 to 28, 2025. The exhibition will provide a platform for Korean companies to explore potential collaborations and projects in Pakistan’s dynamic food and agriculture market. .
Jam Kamal Khan said: “This dinner is a celebration of the strong relations between Pakistan and Korea, and a reaffirmation of our commitment to foster deeper economic partnerships.”
Donors who have played an important role in Pakistan’s development efforts were also present at the event, further strengthening the network of cooperation and goodwill between the two countries.
