Al Baik Food Systems – a popular Saudi food chain – is expected to make its debut in Pakistan as a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the company and the Pakistan Gas and Oil Company Limited (Go) of the Saudi Ministry of Investment.
The broasted chicken, french fries, delicious nuggets and countless sauces offered by the food chain in Jeddah are very popular among people. Most Pakistani expatriates believe that a visit to Saudi Arabia is incomplete without this delicious chicken.
In line with Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance exports of rich national expertise and open new horizons for Saudi commercial expansion globally, this agreement will explore the possibility of establishing a strategic partnership to establish and operate Al-Baik restaurants in Pakistan, which represents a major step in Al-Baik’s strategic expansion process throughout the country.
The signing ceremony was held under the patronage of the Saudi Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, and in the presence of high-level delegations from the Saudi and Pakistani sides.
This event comes as a result of the continuous efforts made by the Saudi Ministry of Investment to enable Saudi brands to expand internationally and enhance the Kingdom’s position on the global economic arena.
Go, in which Saudi Aramco acquired a 40% stake, is a major player in Pakistan’s oil and gas sector. This partnership confirms the Kingdom’s commitment to diversifying its economy and creating new growth opportunities in foreign markets.
This initiative highlights the crucial role played by the Saudi Ministry of Investment in achieving the goals of Vision 2030 and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a leading economic power at the regional and global levels.
