Punjab launch AGRI green projects to update the agricultural sector

The Punjab government opened multiple agricultural projects under the Green Pakistan initiative (GPI) on Sunday, including Green Agri & Service Comparing, Smart Agri Farm, Agri Research Center, Lage (Kandai and Chapu in Cholistan.

Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the Chief of Staff of the Army (COAS), Sayyid Ameer Munir, attended the celebrations alongside federal ministers and provinces.

Green Agry Mall & Service Company is aimed at providing farmers with high -quality seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, pesticides and fuel at control rates with the provision of rental plants, including drones, at affordable costs. The AGRI Smart Farm, which is spreading more than 5,000 acres, will work as a model for modern agricultural technologies, and integrate highly efficient irrigation systems to increase crop returns.

The AGRI Research and Facilitation Center will provide laboratory and technical support services, while contacting research institutions and academic partners worldwide. In the treatment of the assembly, Maryam Nawaz Sharif highlighted agriculture as the economic spine of Pakistan and praised the role of the initiative in the progress of best practices in this sector.

General Ameme Monir admitted the role of Punjab as a force in agriculture and praised the rapid progress of the Green Companies Initiative. He reaffirmed the army’s commitment to support economic development, while emphasizing the importance of agricultural innovation.
