On Wednesday, Prime Minister Mohamed Shaybaz Sharif called on businessmen in Bahrain to take advantage of the huge potential of commercial activities in Pakistan and invest in various sectors.
He also stressed the need to increase the volume of trade between the two countries.
The Prime Minister was speaking to a parliamentary delegation to Bahrain led by the President of the Bahrain Representatives Council, Ahmed bin Salman Al -Maysal, who invited him here at the Prime Minister’s house.
He stressed that the exchange of parliamentary delegations to the two countries was important to increase the strengthening of bilateral relations.
He also conveyed his best wishes to the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The Prime Minister said: “The brotherly relations of Pakistan and Bahrain are very strong and are based on common beliefs, history and culture.”
He highlighted that the Pakistanis living in Bahrain were providing the main services in the country.
He also stressed that Pakistan, Bahrain and the entire Muslim nation should intensify relief efforts for their Palestinian brothers and sisters.
The President of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, a private assistant, Tariq, and senior government officers on this occasion, attended.
