GRSC-IBM explores global policy in the Trump era 2.0

Karachi: The Center for World and Regional Studies (GRSC) hosted at the Institute of Business Administration (IOBM) an exciting seminar entitled “Trump 2.0 and Global Policy: Challenges, Transformations and Opportunities” on Saturday, says a press release.
The event gathered prominent experts in the international relations of in -depth discussions on how Donald Trump II was in his capacity as the US President to reshape the geopolitical scenario.
Among the prominent speakers were Ambassador Mustafa Kemal Kazi, the former ambassador of Pakistan in Russia, the Netherlands, Indonesia and Iraq, who also served as the head of the symposium; Ambassador Sayed Hassan Habib, older colleague at the Center for Political Studies and Region, IOBM.
Among the distinguished attendees were the head of IBM, Karim, along with Hods, students and faculty.
Talib Karim, President of IOBM, dealt with Pakistan’s challenges under the Trump administration, with a highlight of political instability and the weak strategic sites due to the shortcomings of foreign policy.
He stressed the importance of addressing these issues and stressed the capabilities of Pakistan youth to advance economic growth and play a major role in reshaping the future of the nation.
While addressing the audience, Ambassador Mustafa Kamal Kazi discussed how Trump’s re -election had stabilized global stability, indicating his use of social media and bold policies, such as withdrawing from NATO and suggesting the inclusion of Greenland. It also highlighted Trump’s aggressive position on China and his unpredictable leadership, which challenges the multilateral system after World War II.
While participating in his statements, Ambassador Gr Baluch, the director of GRSC, warned that Trump’s withdrawal from international agreements would cause global confidence erosion, while American and China tensions may form future international relations. He stressed that the world should adapt to the unpredictable Trump leadership style, which may lead to the reorganization of geopolitical.
During this speech, Ambassador Sayed Hassan Habib focused on the advanced challenges within American democracy, indicating the shift towards excessive branch, polarization and increasing misinformation. He explained the local and international obstacles that Trump faces in his second term, including legal battles and tense alliances.
The symposium provided valuable visions on the political, economic and global repercussions of the Trump leadership, which enhances a rich discussion among students. Students actively participated in discussions with speakers, trade exploration, economy and political repercussions Trump 2.0 and the developed global scene under his leadership.
