The Minister of Commerce emphasizes the strengthening of Pak-Türkiye’s cooperation

Islamabad: The Minister of Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, stressed to enhance Pakistan and Turkey’s cooperation in space.

He expressed these words during his visit to the Turkish Office of Pakistan in Pakistan in the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) and the SINES Engineering and Science School (SINES) located within the National University of Science and Technology (NST), a press release issued here.

The minister’s visit aims to highlight the increasing cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey, as well as explore the innovative initiatives implemented in the advanced research and development sectors in Pakistan.

Erfan Niziroglu, the Ambassador of the Republic of Torke, also attended the minister’s receipt, which emphasized strong bilateral relations and Tor Ki’s commitment to enhance technological and economic cooperation with Pakistan.

The Turkish Aerospace Industries (Tai) is a leader in the aviation and defense industry, known for its advanced technological capabilities and advanced defense solutions.

Pakistan, Pakistan, with its offices in both NSTP and Sines, focuses on enhancing cooperation in the space and defense sectors while providing opportunities for technology transfer, research and development, exchange of knowledge, and innovation.

The Federal Minister of Trade also visited the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), one of the leading artificial intelligence research institutions in Pakistan. It is part of the government’s efforts to build capabilities in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science.

The NCAI mission is to advance the adoption of artificial intelligence and innovation in the main sectors, which enhances technological and scientific ingenuity in Pakistan.

The minister’s visit to NCAI provided an opportunity to see the pioneering work in artificial intelligence research, which carries tremendous potential for various industries, including space and defense.

During the visit, the minister expressed his support for the ongoing efforts in Pakistan, Turkish Air and stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships between the government, academic circles and the private sector.

The visit strengthened Pakistan’s commitment to building a strong ecosystem for space and technology that could contribute to economic and technological growth in the country.
