Islamabad: Finance Minister Mohamed Uranzib revealed plans to provide financial relief to the salary class in the next budget, as he faced continuous financial challenges while supporting economic growth.
Speaking to the media in Lahore on Sunday, Aurangzeb highlighted many positive economic indicators, including the number of transfers to 35 million and an increase in flows through the Roshan Digital account.
“The private sector plays a vital role in leading economic progress, and we are committed to supporting its growth,” adding that foreign exchange reserves in Pakistan show a steady improvement.
The minister also repeated the government’s support for the construction industry, with a focus on curbing speculation activities in the real estate market.
As Pakistan continues to deal with inflation and heavy tax burden on the salary category, the next budget is expected to provide measures aimed at providing financial relief while maintaining public financial stability.
