General Motors (GM) has announced the employment of the first artificial intelligence officer (AI), as the auto industry is seeking to integrate more artificial intelligence into its cars and other aspects of its business.

BARAK Turovsky, 49, is a former AI in CICO and a major character in the technology of artificial intelligence in Google, in this role.

Turovsky will join the software and services engineering team in General Motors, as Dave Richardson, the first vice president of the administration. Richardson emphasized that artificial intelligence is decisive for the future of General Motors via electric cars (EVS), internal combustion engines (ICE), and self -ruling driving.

He pointed out that the experience of Turovsky will accelerate the initiatives of the artificial intelligence team, with the aim of improving products, improving operations, and improving customer experience.

Turovsky and his team will focus on integrating artificial intelligence programs into the GM collection, while also working on other projects that benefit from artificial intelligence to improve operations. General Motors has already applied artificial intelligence to improve manufacturing, locations for charging EV, and improving vehicle orders management for merchants.

Turovsky’s employment is a strategic step as General Motors continues to expand the capabilities of artificial intelligence to meet the advanced demands of the auto industry.
