Novocaine managers on the funny movie “Action Jack”, complement hopes

Dan Burke and Robert Olsen grew up in the golden age of the action films in the 1980s, and the box office worship such as “midnight”, “deadly weapon” and “dies this”. When they coincided with the scenario of a highly concept movie called “Novokin”-where a moderate man named Nate can feel pain and must save his attention from violent bank thieves-they loved the idea. But they were keen to add the humor and blade that raised their favorite.

“There was something about these films where they were very funny, but they did not lose their classes,” says Olsen. “It is not a comedy who does not care about the characters. They have heroes that you know.”

Fortunately, Burke and Olsen, who had written and directed former films such as horror comedy 2019 “bad guys” and science fiction trip 2022 “another task”, managed to take a pass in the scenario and add a group of welcome to the audience in.

“It was necessary to get this mixture because there is a lot of violence and punches in it, if it also did not allow the audience to laugh, it may become unjustified,” says Olsen. “It may become torture, it may become too much. Despite the ability of Nate not to feel pain, Burke and Olsen were accurate at work to ensure that the internal logic of the film is still based on the ground, regardless of the extent of increased positions.

“He is not a super hero, and we used to take freedoms to what extent could the human body be pushed,” says Burke. “Every movie is a movement, but we wanted to stay within a semi -specific world within the system of rules in our movie. “Our films are designed to be enjoyable and have a positive atmosphere under it,” Ulsen added. “Many of them explore love, friendship and such things. Even our dark things usually have some exploration for that.”

Ultimately, Burke and Olsen managed to tie the needle to the ambitious “Novokin”, and if the audience embraces the movie, they like to dive into the world for a sequel – which serves as a testimony of the healthy joy they felt in the group of violent violent movie.

“It was an explosion, so we were completely back and reconsidering this world,” says Olsen. “This was the most incredible collection of films that we were at all, and that’s all because our representatives are great people and the collection of films could be the most enjoyable place in the world.
