His personal visits to the booths of Memory Technology Corporation (MTC) and Garage, run by Jazz Pakistan, at GITEX highlighted his efforts to encourage international cooperation and investment in the country’s technology sector.
One of the key moments of GITEX 2024 was the signing of a digital memorandum of understanding between Amer Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz, and Hossam Moubayed, CEO of MTC. The signing was attended by Jamal Ali Khan, Head of Indirect Sales Channel, and Tabish Zaidi, Regional Director of MTC Dubai, which emphasized the importance of this partnership. Husam Mubaid’s vision for Pakistan has been pivotal over the past five years. He has successfully brought global technology leaders such as Toshiba, Western Digital and SanDisk to the Pakistani market, recognizing the potential in its young population – 64% under the age of 30. Even during the challenges of the pandemic, MTC opened two new offices in Pakistan. This confirms the company’s commitment to growth in the region. His continued advocacy for a business-friendly environment has ensured that Pakistan remains a key hub for MTC’s growth in the future.
