Federal Interior Minister Mohsen Naqafi announced that Saudi citizens no longer ask for a visa to travel to Pakistan.
During his visit to the Saudi embassy, he was announced in the pocket of Islamabad diplomat, where he met the Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al -Maliki.
The high -level meeting focuses on strengthening cooperation in multiple sectors including anti -drug, anti -human trafficking, and economic development initiatives. Both sides have expressed a strong commitment to deepening strategic relations and population, which reflects the increasing momentum in Pakistan’s heavenly relations.
“There are very close and historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and we want to deepen them more,” the Maliki Ambassador said during the meeting. Minister Naqqi echoed the feelings, with a focus on mutual cooperation and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields of development of Pakistan.
Naqafi specifically thanked the Saudi authorities for helping to launch and restore the list of five Pakistani family members detained abroad, noting as a major example of the growing operational partnership between the two countries. He said: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provided vital support to ensure the safe return of the innocent family.”
The main discussion point was to enhance joint efforts in combating cross -national crimes such as drug trafficking and human smuggling. “We are focusing on enhancing cooperation in these critical areas,” Naqafi, with the re -emphasis on Pakistan’s design to perform a deception on organized begging rings operating under the guise of legal immigration.
He also revealed that the Pakistani government provides stricter protocols to issue passports aimed at preventing illegal immigration and exploiting travel documents. “The siege was tightened against the begging mafia,” he said.
The visit, which was later described by the Saudi embassy on social media as “friendly and fruitful”, follows the participation of a Saudi delegation in the last Back Golf Council, which was held in Islamabad-a sign of continuous cooperation at the high level.
The visa is expected to facilitate more movement for Saudi investors, tourists and professionals who seek to explore opportunities in the emerging sectors of Pakistan, especially tourism, real estate and trade.
