Prime Minister Shaybaz Sharif announced that the Pakistanis abroad who make great investments in the country will be recognized through civil awards, recognizing their contributions as ambassadors in Pakistan abroad.
“The Pakistanis abroad plays a role of ambassadors for our country. Their services and dedication in Pakistan is worth praise,” said the Prime Minister, who was chairing a high -level meeting on Monday, on matters related to Pakistanis abroad.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Isaac Dar, Chief of Staff of the Army, Ashm Munir, the ministers of the federations, and senior officials.
Prime Minister Shaybaz referred to the strong participation of the Pakistanis abroad in the Pakistani conference abroad, describing it as a reflection of their confidence in the government’s policies. “We salute their sincerity, love for the homeland and the sacrifices they made.”
He praised the global success of the Pakistani diaspora, especially in medicine, education, engineering and consulting, noting, “They have obtained a respectable name for themselves and the state through hard work and integrity.”
With the highlight of a new initiative, the Prime Minister announced that the Pakistanis who live abroad who were distinguished in their fields or sent the highest transfers through the State Bank will be honored with civil prizes.
He also affirmed the full commitment of the government to resolve the issues faced by the Pakistanis abroad on the basis of priority. To encourage participation, he said that investment opportunities that are in line with their professional experiences will be provided in the country.
The meeting also reviewed the progress made in pre -announced initiatives aimed at supporting Pakistanis abroad.
