China warns South Korean companies against exporting rare ground mineral products for US defense companies – Trendy Blogger

According to what was reported, China asked South Korea companies to refrain from exporting products that contain rare ground minerals from China to US defense companies. According to a report issued by Korea’s daily economic, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce issued messages to South Korean companies participating in energy, batteries, electric cars, space and medical equipment – all of which depend on these critical materials. The messages have warned that companies may face sanctions if these export restrictions violate.

Earlier this month, China imposed export controls on rare Earth elements as part of its broader revenge standards against American definitions, reducing the supply of these basic materials used in a wide range of products, including weapons, electronics and consumer goods.
