In this episode of the Thinking Global podcast, David Anderson speaks with the Think global team in the second part of our two-part series on Judith N. Shklar and international relations. Here David chats with Kieran (@kieranjomeara) on civil disobedience, cruelty, our duty of transnational civil disobedience and the use of Shklar in thinking about international relations.

David Anderson (University of St. Andrews – @scotswoodworker @StAndrewsIR) is a PhD student in International Relations. His research interests focus broadly on international political theory, migration and border studies, citizenship, cruelty and justice. In particular, David’s current research focuses significantly on the (late) political thought of Judith Shklar, civil disobedience and the conceptualization of borders.
