Hinduism masquerades as secularism in India, says AJK chief trendy blogger

Muzaffarabad:

Sardar Masood Khan, President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, said that after reluctantly accepting Pakistan’s independence, India has adopted a secular doctrine, which is an insincere attempt to hide prevailing Hindu nationalism under the guise of secularism.

He made these remarks while addressing two separate online conferences organized by the Institute of Policy Studies on the theme “India: Past, Present and Future: Perceptions of the Muslim World”; And by the Pakistan High Commission in the UK on the theme “Seeking Justice for Victims of Sexual Violence, Physical Torture and Kashmiri Widows”.

Speaking at the IPS session – which was attended by leading international experts from the US, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nigeria – the President said Hindu fascists were portraying a romantic fantasy. “Akhand Bharat” They claim that they existed before the arrival of Muslim rulers in the Indian subcontinent. Not only is this idea unsupported by history, he said, it is also counterintuitive.

Referring to the false secularism embraced by India, the J&K Party chief said that over the decades, this glue of secularism has separated and the true face of India’s political masters has been revealed. “Shortly after independence, on October 27, 1947, India began working on its imperialist agenda and invaded the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Motivated by its extremist Hindu politics, India has pursued this agenda over the years,” he said.

Masood Khan said that legislators and the leadership of the BJP, RSS and their affiliates have publicly announced that they will eliminate Muslims from within India. He said this caught the attention of Hindu fanatics from all over India which subsequently affected the larger political scene in the neighboring country.

This nexus between the BJP and the RSS has launched three wars in the region; One is against its minorities within its borders, the second is against the Kashmiris in the occupied Kashmir region, and the third is against all its neighboring countries. He added: “Considering Pakistan as enemy number one, they threatened to wipe Pakistan off the face of the Earth using nuclear weapons.”

The AJK president said India’s ambition to become a colonial and imperialist power in the region prompted it to use the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh to sabotage the Belt and Road Initiative. It also formed a four-member Quad alliance – comprising India, the USA, Japan and Australia – to oppose the Belt and Road Initiative, especially the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

“India is the biggest impediment to progress in the region. SAARC has been struggling for decades and that is also because India is standing in the way of economic integration as it wants to establish its dominance in South Asia,” the president said.

“Existing tensions emerge in the new dispute between China and India”

Talking about the situation in IOJ&K, he said that India is practicing the policy of vital space by reoccupying the state of Jammu and Kashmir, dividing it into two parts and now bringing it under the direct rule of Delhi. He compared the new domicile rules introduced in the occupied valley to the policy pursued by Nazi Germany against the Jews, which was initially based on economic strangulation, followed by demonization, marginalization, and finally physical extermination.

The President informed that political leaders in IOJ&K have been imprisoned and youth are being killed and tortured in prisons across occupied Kashmir and North India. He added that 13,000 Kashmiri children have been kidnapped and held in prisons where they are subjected to torture and brainwashing. Bipin Rawat, Indian Chief of Defense Staff, said that these boys (some as young as 10 years old) are more dangerous than a pellet gun because they raise the slogan Azadi He said (freedom) and self-determination.

The AJK chief said members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) should start a boycott, divestment and sanctions movement against India, while the corporate sector of these countries should be discouraged from investing in India as it is committing human rights violations against Kashmiris. And the Muslims of India.

“Beginning to ban the import of non-halal meat to OIC countries and forming a humanitarian fund for Kashmir with the assistance of the Islamic Development Bank and the Islamic Solidarity Fund.”

He also suggested mobilizing the international civil society movement to delegitimize Hindutva and campaign to declare the RSS a terrorist organisation. “The largest and most trained terrorist organization in the world is the RSS. They have openly declared that they are targeting Muslims not only in South Asia but all over the world.”

Appreciating the supportive role of the OIC, Masoud Khan appealed to the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council to raise their voice against Kashmir and denounce the blatant human rights violations taking place in the OIC and Kashmir.

Speaking at the virtual conference hosted by the Pakistan High Commission, the President appealed to powerful countries to make moral and legal choices to bring India to justice and help dismantle this torture machine at IOJ&K. He said: “Silence is a crime when this torture occurs publicly in any part of the world.”

He added that 25,000 Hindus from all over India were given IOJ&K residences; In the same way that Muslim Indians have become second-class citizens, Kashmiris have to run from pillar to post just to prove that they are subjects of the state. “If we don’t stop this now, IOJ&K will not be a well-known entity as it is today. Two million Hindus will be brought in over the coming years,” he said.

The association president said that India’s non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council would lead to three setbacks in the council. First, it will attempt to remove the agenda from the UN Security Council calendar; Second, they will make efforts to prevent us from holding informal meetings on Kashmir; Third, it would threaten funding for the mandate of the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan. “As a permanent member of the UN Security Council, the United Kingdom can stop this and create a balance in the UN Security Council,” the president said while speaking to his audience.

He urged British citizens and their civil society to lead the letter writing and awareness raising campaign on Kashmir in the international sphere.

He also thanked MP Steve Baker for his active and vocal role in raising the voice of the people of Kashmir by writing a letter. He urged him to use his influence with 10 Downing Street and the Foreign Office to mobilize the UK to defend Kashmir in both the British Parliament and the UN Security Council.

The online conference hosted by the Pakistan High Commission in London was attended by Pakistani High Commissioner to the UK Nafees Zakaria, MP Afzal Khan, MP Naz Shah, MP Steve Baker, MP Tony Lloyd, MP Imran Hussain, MP Khalid Mahmood and Lord Qurban. Hussain, Advisor Asim Rasheed, Mr. Muzammil Ayub Thakur, JKSDMI President Raja Najabat Hussain, Kashmir Tehreek UK President Fahim Kayani, Dr. Nazir Gilani, Syed Ali Raza, Shaista Safi and other prominent members of civil society.
